Monkey Baby Shower Cake

We created this cake for our sister-in-law's baby shower.  She was decorating the nursery in a jungle theme for her soon-to-be-born little girl.  We made the monkeys out of fondant, letting the separate pieces set overnight before putting then together with water.  The band of jungle animals around the base of the cake was cut out of fondant - in hind sight, it would be much better to use a cricut for this kind of work.
